NOTE: The code for the numerical simulation of my thesis was written fully in C, under Linux.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My scientific interests concern the study of molecular and atomic supercooled liquids using numerical simulations such as Molecular Dynamics or Monte Carlo in order to understand the behaviour of such systems approaching the so called glass transition.

RESEARCH WORKS

April and May 1999: Contract of short collaboration with INFM for research activity at Department of Physics of University of Pisa with Dott. Dino Leporini.

INFORMATIC KNOWLEDGE

Operating systems: Linux, which I use since version 0.99, Windows 98, MSDOS
Programming languages: C, C++, fortran 77/90, Visual Basic 7.0, SQL, awk, bash/tcsh script, Pascal, Assembly x86.
Office: LaTex, TeX, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint), Star Office 5.2
Libraries: MPI, openMP for developing parallel code on multiprocessors machines Gtk+, gnome for development of graphical interfaces fltk for GUIs development in Windows or Linux System V IPC for interprocesses communications
Development tools: good experience with cvs, make and GNU automake/autoconf/autoheader build utilities.
Internals of Compilers, especially of GNU/gcc
